    2009年圣诞节后的第一天，Pleasant Hill Event Hall中张灯结彩，欢声笑语，一片喜气洋洋的场面。亚特兰大中华专业人士协会（Association of Chinese Professionals, ACP）在这里召开了一年一度的新年联欢会。与以往不同的是，今年的联欢会同时也是首届“中华厨艺大赛”。大家不但享受了愉快的节日气氛，欣赏了丰富多彩的节目，几十道各色菜品更是让大家大饱口福。
26日傍晚，Pleasant Hill Event Hall中高朋满座， 150余名会员及亲朋好友们坐满了大厅。这里有辛勤忙碌的理事会成员们，有资深的老会员们，有从佐治亚大学（University of Georgia, UGA)远道而来的学生们， 还有一群天真无邪活泼好动的小孩子。整个大厅笑声不断，好不热闹。ACP的会员来自五湖四海，烹饪的菜式也是五花八门，不尽相同。从简单的炒饭、炒面，到复杂的麻辣鸡腿、干煸牛肉，从中式的煎饺、酱鸭，到各式西点，真是应有尽有。几十道菜色全无重复，各具特色。最后红烧牛肉、干煸牛肉条、肉丸汤、土豆丝等分别获奖。
接下来的文艺表演和卡拉OK环节也是精彩纷呈，掌声不断。汤静瑛女士的《我爱你，塞北的雪》和《红灯记》选段《都有一颗红亮的心》体现出了相当的戏曲专业素养。吴玄飞理事的二胡表演《赛马》气势奔腾嘹亮，《茉莉花》则婉约典雅，表现出相当的演奏造诣。来自UGA的四个小伙子献上的《对面的女孩看过来》给大家带来了青春活力，而刚刚完成膝关节手术、还坐在轮椅上的朱晔，以及同校的杨佩琳演唱的《甜蜜蜜》声音甜美，曲调婉转，可谓温柔甜美。出身花鼓戏世家，平时从不显山露水的李冰女士今天献艺一曲高亢的《黄土高坡》，嗓音清澈、底气十足，仿佛将大家带到一望无际的黄土高坡。此外老歌《恰似你的温柔》、《三月里的小雨》、《潇洒走一回》、《长江之歌》等勾起大家的无限回忆。ACP真是藏龙卧虎，人才济济一堂。
在最后最激动人心的大奖环节中，来自UGA的郭辉同学真是鸿运当头，一举赢得了美国财政部定制，头四位号码为“8888”的五十美元大奖。大家纷纷与他合影留念。精彩的联欢会让人留恋忘返，现场大多数来宾一直留到了晚会结束才怀着依依不舍的心情互道新年快乐相互告别。这次晚会团结凝聚了亚城的华人，让大家在异乡再一次拥有了回家的感觉。

The Georgia chapter of the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA‐Georgia), in partnership with the Atlanta chapter of the Association of Chinese Professionals (ACP‐Atlanta), are pleased to announce the 13th Annual Diversity Career Fair. Summary 1. Self Education by Xin Li.

Topic: Music history: from classic to popular 2. Old and new committee transaction: The former president Jianing Xu transferred the organization account and belongings to the new president Huanyao Gao 3. Committee members changing: The committee approved the quitting of two committee members: Yanbin Guan and Xianwei Hu The committee approved for the application of two new committee members: Guannan Wang and Ye Zhu 4. Allocation of duties The new committee re-allocated the duties of each member as following: Huanyao Gao: President, coordinates committee activity and any events in general.
