As the largest Chinese professional talent association in Atlanta, U.S., the Association of Chinese Professionals (ACP) is an independently registered, non-political, non-profit professional organization.

The goal of ACP is to utilize the two great natural resources of the members for their self-improvement, prosperity and community well-being. These two resources are:

  • expertise in science, technology, management, culture, education and other related areas
  • the members' natural connections with China

The most members of ACP have Master or Doctorate degree in science, engineering, art, education, law, medicine, business administration, and other areas. Most of them work in companies of small to large size, holding managerial, research, and development positions. These characteristics provide a unique opportunity for the members and communities alike to benefit from this pool of talent.

ACP promotes cultural, economical, and technological cooperation and exchange between the US and China by encouraging its members' active involvement and by providing services and opportunities for friendship, networking, and collaborations among its members and between members and their communities.

ACP believes that the education is key towards success for members, their family and their community. ACP actively promotes the education especially among the youth and seeks opportunities to foster the spirit of community service among young people.

ACP publishes its bi-monthly newsletter to enhance the communication among its members and between ACP and other communities. Every two month, ACP has a theme meeting.

ACP hosts a variety of programs and activities, with the examples like :

  • Professional seminars and workshops: designed to enhance members' skill and knowledge in leadership, communication, and management
  • Tours of high tech and R&D companies and facilities: designed to maintain and improve members' technical and professional knowledge and skills
  • Education seminars and workshops: designed to raise the awareness and exchange the information of children's education and development both in academic and extracurricular activities. Hosting or co-hosting delegations and business groups from the Greater China region to help members connect and pursue collaborative business activities
  • Social activities: usually held around a major holiday, provide opportunities for members to get together and to share knowledge and experience

ACP will continue these activities in the years to come. Furthermore, the association will also continue to enhance its relationship with other professional and organizations and establish working relationship with local Chinese and US governmental offices and news agencies.

All professionals of Chinese ethnicity regardless of nationality are welcome to join. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact any BoD officer.
