最近收到同事的群发信，提醒GA新颁发的一个法律，叫 Move-Over Law。意思是如果你看到警察在路边亮着警灯执勤，你应该换到离路边远一点的道上去，若由于交通的原因不能换，也应该将速度降低到10MPH之内。好像我的同事已经“中招”了，罚的金额还不少，大约在700多美元左右。所以，小心点吧！

下边是我收到的电邮的内容，已经隐去所有的Last Name，仅作参考。

Yes. I am painfully aware of this law. I have made 2 (6 hours round trip) trips in the past two weeks to Tifton to fight my ticket. The judge split the difference and found me guilty, but waived the fine. The points still go on my license. This new revenue generator is very real.

Yes it is. As a matter of fact a family member of a friend of mine recently got a ticket for this on I285. After court costs it ended up costing him more than $700! So drive carefully and look out for those flashing lights!

Just FYI


New Law: If a patrol car is pulled over to the side of the road with their lights flashing, you have to move to the next lane (away from the stopped vehicle) or slow down to 20 mph.......Every state except Hawaii and Maryland and the D.C. has this law. In California, the "Move-over" law become operative on January 1, 2010.

2012年第十二届“亚 城 之 春”组委会前不久成立。2012年的“亚 城 之 春”文艺晚会由中华专业人士协会(ACP)主办，天马文化艺术中心(TMCAC)承办，东方之声艺术团(CAAE)及美中文化教育基金会协办。这次组委会有幸邀请到了著名的中国侨联的“亲情中华”为主的艺术代表团以及来自徐州的“云之雀舞蹈艺术团”来参加演出。“亲情中华”艺术代表团以著名演员及歌唱家李玲玉领衔，包括东方歌舞团著名歌唱家刘玉婉，中央歌剧院女高音歌唱家尤鸿斐，中国煤矿文工团男高音歌唱家刘君侠和神骏组合等众多明星演员。演出时间是2012年2月10日 （星期五）晚上7时，演出地点亚特兰大市中心的 Rialto 剧场。
