- Background
The Sino-US Environmental Protection and Energy Summit & Expo serves as an interdisciplinary forum that brings together leaders in the fields of technology, policy, industry, and finance to develop solutions for the world’s most pressing energy and environmental challenges. Environmental and security concerns have created an opportunity for fundamental change in the way the world produces and consumes energy. In the Sino-US Environmental Protection and Energy Summit & Expo, attendants will explore these opportunities and the world’s leading technology and solution providers will showcase their latest and promising technologies and policy pathways that will make a significant impact on the solutions across the global energy and environmental landscape. The 2010 Environmental Protection and Energy Summit & Expo will be held on the 24th and 25th of April, 2010, featuring workshops, project showcase seminars, panel discussions, social exchange, and professional tours. This summit and expo enables considerable flexibility in the way that attendants can interact, get updated, compare technologies, and conclude deals in a vibrant innovative environment, fulfilling the primary goal of exploring and promoting collaboration between U.S. and China in solutions of energy and environmental challenges.

- Showcase Tours
Tour to the University of Georgia and visit a green building, stormwater management and rain water reuse systems, biofuel demostration project, solid waste bio-conversion center, and wetland system for water quality management.

Registration fee: RMB 5,000 or US $700/person, additional $100 is required for those who will attend the tour.
