Welcome to the mailing list of ACP (Association of Chinese Professionals) at Atlanta.

ACP POST List (post@acp-atlanta.org ) was established in July 1998. People on the list are POST members who can receive and post emails directly as well. ACP POST List as a non-controlled list is designed to encourage ACP member's active participation and to better serve Atlanta Chinese community. It is a vehicle primarily for ACP to keep our members and friends informed of all ACP activities as well as what is going on in Chinese Communities in Atlanta. While we trust poster's integrity and judgment on what can and cannot post, ACP encourages POST members observe the following "Rules of Thumb" so all of us will feel pleasant and helpful to be a member or a poster of POST list:

1. ACP POST List's Administration:

a. ACP owns and operates ACP POST List. .

b. ACP reserves the right to suspend the poster for repeated negligence of poster's responsibilities. ACP also reserves the right to close the list if the ACP Board deems it is appropriate.

2. Members' Rights:

a. All active ACP members are the posters who have the ability to send email directly to post@acp-atlanta.org .

b. Other people may ask the poster to send email to POST list on their behalf.

c. Anybody can freely subscribe to the POST list on ACP web site http://www.acp-atlanta.org , or by sending the request with first name, last name and email address to POST list administrator at webmaster@acp-atlanta.org.

d. Anybody can freely un-subscribe from the POST list on ACP web site http://www.acp-atlanta.org, OR send the un-subscription request with first name, last name and email address to POST list administrator at webmaster@acp-atlanta.org.

3. Members' Responsibilities:

a. The postings to list are for the purpose of information sharing. They should be timely, concise, informative, and closely related to the Chinese Communities in Atlanta (even though we DO have members in the list that are NOT Chinese).

b. For-Profit advisement without ACP approval (only for ACP's sponsor) are prohibited. No political messages are allowed!

c. The posters are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of their messages. No posting is representing ACP's opinion unless it comes officially form ACP BOD members.

d. ACP POST List is NOT a newsgroup-like discussion forum. The correspondences which are not related to ACP's activity should be addressed to the message sender, NOT the entire list. By default, the Reply function in this mailing list is REPLY TO THE LIST. Please use REPLY in caution.
